Aliza F. Herzberg counsels employers in managing all aspects of their relationships with their employees.
She advises U.S. companies, and U.K. and E.U.-based companies with U.S. operations, on a broad range of employment issues, including compliance with employment laws and regulations, reductions in force, drafting and negotiation of employment and severance agreements and the due diligence associated with mergers and acquisitions. She provides holistic advice that is focused on the success of the “whole client.”
Aliza also helps employers deal with crises as they arise. She frequently conducts and manages workplace investigations that arise based on employee complaints. She provides minute to minute counsel on dicey terminations and other employment decisions. She works to make sure her clients’ businesses are protected from liability and that they get ahead of crises and attendant reputational damage.
To help employers prevent crises and litigation, Aliza provides training to all levels of employees and management. Her training sessions are lively and interactive, ensuring that her clients comply with the state and federal laws and maintain healthy workforces.
When and if disputes arise, she also represents companies in litigations and arbitrations relating to employment discrimination, harassment, non-competition and employment agreements.
Aliza trains executives and managers and frequently appears on various CNBC shows regarding employment issues.
